Randstad is currently partnering with a department within the Federal Government to recruit a motivated and skilled Personal/Executive Assistant to join their business. As an Executive Assistant you will provide high level administrative support to one director and act as the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Diary and Email Management
- Coordination of team meetings, room bookings
- Minute taking, report and meeting agendas
- Compiling information and preparing reports
- Undertake simple financial processes
- Proactive attitude and hands on approach to getting work done
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Experience with events, facilities and business administration
- The ability to learn and pick up new skills quickly, adapt and anticipate requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a high volume, Executive Assistant role with demonstrated success
- Experience as an executive support officer or high-level administrator.
- Experience within the Public Sector is highly regarded
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, discretion and adherence to professional business standards
- Solid experience of Microsoft Office programs,QBT travel
- Highly organised with good time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines with an eye for accuracy and detail.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- High attention to detail
- Effectively work under pressure whilst working with a high volume of work and ensuring deadlines are met
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
YOU MUST:
- Hold a current National Police Clearance valid within the last year and be willing to have a baseline clearance
- Have availability Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week
- Be an Australian Citizen
