About the position
As a savvy and experienced Executive Assistant, you’re well equipped to perform within this pivotal role providing essential support to the CEO. Integral to maintaining organisational focus while providing strategic support, this role is key to driving culture and influencing stakeholder relationships.
Your commitment to handling confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism will be demonstrated on a daily basis, as will your superior organisational and time management skills. You’ll enjoy the business partner elements of this position, providing a considered and mature approach when supporting the CEO in key decision-making to further the organisation’s success.
Finally, as a keen relationship builder, you’ll see opportunities to improve communication between the executive team and key stakeholders, offering a steady hand to guide multiple priorities and anticipate blockers.
Position responsibilities
- apply a strategic mindset to aid the CEO in decision-making processes, acting as a confidant and sounding board
- collaborating with executive team to enable efficient and effective delivery of strategic goals
- building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate enquiries, ensure effective communication flow, and provide high quality advice
- providing quality and timely administrative support
- coordinating all aspects of domestic and international travel arrangements
- researching and professionally preparing documentation such as presentations and various reports
- managing diary appointments and logistics, to proactively schedule, organise, and prioritise meetings
- organising agendas, minutes, and actions registers ensuring task tracking, completion, and reporting
- managing events, functions and other special projects including sourcing venues and organising participant communications and registrations
- coordinating virtual and in person conferences including arranging speakers and presentations, and the setting up and testing of online platforms
- remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices for event planning
- researching and managing a range of projects to deliver within agreed timeframes and budget
