ABOUT THE ROLE
Gateway Health is seeking a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to work in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is pivotal in supporting both the CEO and the Board to help achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the organisation.
This is an exciting role that will be responsible for providing outstanding, high-level support to the CEO and Board which will involve:
- Providing a positive first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of correspondence, minutes, and papers
- Providing secretariat support to board committees
- Providing effective, efficient, and confidential administrative services
- Diary management and records management.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as needed.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Manage expenses and prepare expense reports.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
You will work closely with the CEO to prioritise commitments, coordinate timely responses to requests, and following through on issues to successful resolution.

As someone with exceptional relationship building skills you will be able to work with a diverse team who value your individual contribution. The successful candidate will require a strict commitment to confidentiality, self-motivation and will work well with stakeholders to understand their needs, managing business priorities and time frames, whilst maintaining strong relationships.
You have worked in a professional culture where you have demonstrated having to be adaptive and a problem solver and have high emotional intelligence along with:
- Prior experience supporting at a senior level in a similar environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
