Your new role
Your new role will require a “can do” attitude and effective support provided by not only your team, but mainly the managing director.
Executive Assistant duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Business development support – contacting clients, arranging meetings, events, lunches, etc.
- Full diary management
- Managing client events and marketing sponsorships
- Email management
- General personal assistance
Office Management duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Ongoing function and operation of the office
- Marketing – effective digital marketing, promotional events, investment to help optimise returns for each of the brands
- Human resources – managing the HR processes and administration to support a positive culture and professional practice
There will also be a financial and accounting side to your role that will include:
- Payment systems and procedures
- Daily bank reconciliation and cash flow
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll and related activities
- Reporting of business performance and all aspects of the business management function
As a bonus, you should have the ability to encourage a positive team culture and provide excellent customer support.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require extensive experience as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager. You will require adaptability and flexibility to manage situations as they come up and be able to multitask at a fast pace. Experience in marketing, engineering and finance is desired.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Largely work from office
- Tertiary education (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal, numerical and abstract cognitive skills
- Access to car and Australian Driving Licence
- Should live within 20km from the office.
A confidential and effective work ethic is a must with attention to detail to all tasks.
