Westside Housing is an innovative, independent, values based not-for-profit housing organisation providing affordable rental housing for vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Assistant ensures the provision of a high-level administrative and governance service to support the CEO and Board activities.
Based at West Hindmarsh, the position is permanent with scope for either full-time or part-time (4 days)
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Executive support for the CEO including diary management, governance, and Board functions
- Co-ordinate, prepare papers and take meeting minutes of Board meetings (10 per year) and four sub-committees (10 per year)
- Produce complex documents, reports, professional brochures and corporate publications
- Some Event management, marketing and public relations activities including assisting with the website
- In partnership with the CEO and key staff, coordinate the annual compliance submission
- Co-ordinate the continued registration with a quality assurance framework and document storage in Sharepoint
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven Executive Assistant experience at Board level and a strong understanding of corporate governance
- Knowledge and expertise to produce professional board papers and minutes
- Proficiency in the MS office suite and Sharepoint (or similar)
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Confident, professional approach, demonstrating kindness and empathy in interacting with diverse groups of people
An understanding of the community housing regulatory framework would be an advantage.
This is an exciting time to join the friendly, inclusive small team at Westside Housing in this rewarding permanent position. Consideration for the position to be undertaken on a part time basis, providing you are available to commit to some early morning or late (6.30pm finish) meetings. Typically held on a Tuesday.
