- Leadership and Creativity: Bring creativity and culinary flare, inspiring and leading a large team in a high-pressure hotel environment.
- Training Culture: Embrace and activate a strong training culture to motivate and groom the culinary and front-of-house teams.
- Compliance Expertise: Oversee Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) and Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) compliance, ensuring kitchen safety and legal standards are met.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with Culinary Director, Head Chef, Food and Beverage Director, Group Wine Director, and General Manager to achieve food operational objectives.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrate high-level financial acumen, hitting wage, COGS, and revenue targets to maximize profitability.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day food operations, ensuring the highest standards of food and service in alignment with budget guidelines.
- Team Building: Build and motivate a diverse team of professionals towards a unified goal of culinary excellence.
- Experience and Expertise: Bring a minimum of 6 years' experience in operating a large, high-end kitchen, with a comprehensive knowledge of food, cooking techniques, and a passion for customer service.
