About the role
The Executive Manager Justice is responsible for the operation and execution of Justice related supports, contracts and strategic partnerships across Outcare and the wider Justice sector. The position drives the development and execution of Outcare’s strategic aspirations and organisational objectives within the Justice sector. The Executive Manager Justice will identify and create new opportunities for Outcare to grow our purpose, and positively impact the lives of people in contact with, currently within, or exiting the Justice system.
The Executive Manager Justice is responsible for ensuring Outcare is a culturally competent, safe, inclusive and respectful environment which supports the diverse needs of the communities we engage with. Our team must be resilient and be able to work without judgement with socially disadvantaged clients with complex needs who may be experiencing mental health challenges, substance misuse, challenging behaviours, justice involvement, family and domestic violence and risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
· Aligns Outcare’s Justice activities with strategic priorities across all areas of service and business and identified opportunity for positive community impact.
· Plans, develops and implements strategies that builds Outcare’s Justice capacity and capability that addresses both current and likely future requirements and needs by using research methodology and data driven practice and service design
· Applies intellect and knowledge to analyse complex information, identify critical factors and issues, develop solution focused strategies and recognise new opportunities relevant to Outcare’s purpose.
· Supports the development and implementation of innovative cross-service partnerships, workforce development and wellbeing, financial management, strategies and frameworks to improve outcomes for people requiring reengagement, reintegration and justice services.
· Encourages input from wide ranging and key stakeholders and facilitates cooperation within and between PeopleKind Group, Outcare Management and operational support services to resolve conflict, linking shared agendas to leverage resources and bring people together to achieve a shared purpose.
· Communicates messages clearly and concisely to a range of audiences and groups, ensuring information and approaches are adapted to the audience and circumstances.
· Negotiates persuasively, encourages the support of relevant stakeholders and focuses on the desired objectives.
· Retains responsibility for the successful management, implementation and retention of justice related contracts through effective delivery of contract outcomes and KPI’s, maintenance of all compliance activities, implementation of social impact practice throughout all services and leadership and engagement of the tendering and contract renewal processes across all Justice services
· Commits to achieving key outcomes for the organisation and galvanises others to act.

You will have experience and knowledge in:

You will bring:
· Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Health, Community Services or a relevant discipline, or 3+ years demonstrated work experience in an equivalent/relevant position.
· Working with Children Check.
· Current “C” Class Australian Drivers Licence.
· Australian Citizenship or hold a visa that allows you to work in Australia.
