Reporting to the Principal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing and/or coordinating high level administrative assistance to the Assistant Director-General, QBuild on a wide range of organisation issues. You will also be responsible for providing a liaison point for QBuild, the Office of the Deputy Director-General and the Office of the Director-General, in relation to ministerial and executive documents.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provide a high level of executive support to the Assistant Director-General such as;
o scheduling and organising meetings,
o providing administrative support,
o taking meeting minutes when required
o other administrative tasks as directed by the Assistant Director-General.
- Provide a high level of assistance, support and advice to the Assistant Director[1]General and QBuild Executive Leadership Team.
- Assist in the development and processing of briefing notes, executive correspondence and ministerial requests in line with the department's approval protocols and timeframe targets.
- Provide project and administrative support to various projects being conducted by the Office of the Assistant Director-General, QBuild. This may involve collating, researching, and preparing information on a range of organisational issues.
- Consult, negotiate and develop effective relationships across QBuild and the Department to support QBuild in addressing issues and achieving its business outcomes, especially in the areas related to Executive Services and the Departmental Liaison Officers.
- Coordinate the reporting of sensitive and confidential information.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships within the business, across the department and across Queensland Government.
- Coordinate and manage a range of administrative support activities to enable a service that is responsive to the needs of the business area by providing administrative support and advice to senior management and staff on administrative operational issues.
- Coordinate the implementation of business initiatives and resolve implementation issues within the business.
- Ensure that all work processes and business procedures are compliant with the department's business systems.
- Demonstrate professionalism and be an enthusiastic contributor to QBuild's culture.
