- Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba caumpus, Douglas.
- Remuneration is at HEWL 10A: $127,331 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions.
WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
In this role you will deliver strategic advice, high level business and stakeholder management and executive support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academy and other members of the Academy Executive in an environment that values respect, excellence and delivering a sustainable future for the people of the Tropics.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
As a qualified professional with demonstrated experience in business and strategic planning and coordinating complex organisational objectives, you will support the delivery of successful outcomes for the Academy, in alignment to the University’s strategic intent.
With a high-level of communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and an ability to influence and negotiate with varying levels of stakeholders within the University, Government bodies, industry and community networks, you will support decision making through the provision of research and analysis developing briefing papers and submissions in the field of education and research. You will inform complex decision making and policy development, coordinate executive level business activities, events and projects, and provide evaluations of outcomes against objectives to inform future business operations. This exciting opportunity provides a broad scope of activity within a unique academic and business setting.
