Executive Support Officer (Surgical And Critical Care)

The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Executive Support Officer (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide professional, quality and proficient general Executive Support to assist the Executive in fulfilling their duties
• Manage sensitive information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy
• Support the efficient operation of executive daily activities through diary management
• Perform Secretariat duties or administrative support for meetings / committees as needed
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and a collaborative relationship with the divisional executive team and other stakeholders

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• While not mandatory a relevant qualification is well regarded
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent full time
• Base salary ranging from $88 187 - $97 157 per annum

The Surgical and Critical Care Division oversees the following Clinical Business Units: Theatre Management; Head, Neck, Oral and Neurosurgical; Intensive Care Unit, Anaesthetics and Acute Pain Services; Orthopaedics and Trauma; General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
