We have an opportunity available now for a hardworking and enthusiastic Baker to join our team.
Learn to Mix, Process and scratch bake a full range of Traditional, Artisan, and Sweet Doughs including Sourdoughs, Crossaints and Continental based breads.
Our Bakers are responsible for:
- Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
- Providing delightful customer service when required
- Assisting with stock control and production expenses
To be considered for this ‘roll’, you will need to:
- Have a passion for baking
- Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship, or demonstrate successful completion of prior learning in the baking industry
- Be a morning person! Shifts commence from 6am
- Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills
- Be prepared to work hard and love getting your hands dirty
- Be available to work a 7 day rotating roster.
- Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.
