Experienced Chef

We are seeking an Experienced Chef with previous experience in cooking for our fast-paced restaurant in Southbank. The successful applicant must be committed to our kitchen team on a daily basis also be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be responsible and be willing to work in a team environment and autonomously.

Salary 

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 + Super

Work hours

Tuesday - Sunday

4-5 days a week 

Maximum 44 hours per week

The Roles

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

• Creating a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish
• Preparing all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
• Selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes

Position Requirements

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.

• Have a right to work in Australia
• Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role with references
• Must be fully available over a 7-day roster
• Be able to work under pressure
• Be a team player

 

Holiday and leave

Based on the company's calendar

At least 2-3 days off per week
