Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Administrator to support our project teams and ensure the smooth operation of our construction projects. As a Construction Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks that are crucial to keeping our projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for project-related queries.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and project schedules.
- Assist with the coordination of project activities, including meetings, inspections, and deliveries.
- Accounts Payable
- Processing payroll
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized filing system and ensure all documents are kept confidential.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Support the project team with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and construction management software.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma required; further education or certification in construction, business administration, or related field is a plus.
