The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy team. You must be a team player with a friendly disposition.
The successful applicant will be assisting lawyers from our Kirwan office, Townsville. The main areas of practice shall include will and estate matters, commercial and property matters and family law.
What You’ll Bring
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a secretarial/personal assistant role within the legal industry is essential;
- Experience with LEAP is preferred, but not essential;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task;
- Preparation of high quality documents with particular focus on attention to detail;
- Excellent word processing skills including file and diary management;
- A professional presentation with an excellent telephone manner;
- Good comprehension and typing skills (min 70 wpm).
