Our small, close-knit family GP practice is on the hunt for an Experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. Our practice consist of 5 doctors working daily alongside our practice nurse, reception team and practie manager. We are a very supportive, friendly and easy going team that hold a passion for health care.
Shifts are set days and average approximately 20 hours a week, with an 8am start time and 6pm finish 2 days a week. We offer paid lunch breaks and the option to work a 1 in 4 Saturday which is paid at a higher rate of pay.
We are conveniently located within 5 minutes from Wahroonga train station with off-street parking available.
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a similar practice is an advantage
Ideal requirements:
Experience with Best Practice software or similar
Critical attention to detail - scanning and allocating
Medicare/DVA Claiming
General medical reception duties (scanning, faxing, scheduling appointments, receipting payments)
Professional telephone manner

Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Word and Excel
Punctual, honest and well presented
