THE OPPORTUNITY
Location: Kyneton
Due to the continued growth, and expansion of the Smallstock Export Sales for Kilcoy Global Foods, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Export Sales Officer.
Your main focus in this role will be to execute a solution-based sales strategy, focusing on delivering growth & value in Smallstock Export Sales.
YOUR RESPONSILBITIES
You will help drive the future growth of the business, contribute to evolving the strategic direction whilst being jointly accountable for the strategy and execution of the commercial stream. To assist in achieving this you will:
- Identify and create business opportunities through critical industry, customer and competitor analysis, identifying associated risk and accelerating opportunities to maximise results.
- Deliver customer service that exceeds both internal and external expectations.
- Consistently monitor and review sales activities, collating and analysing organisational data to meet agreed targets and business ownership profit expectations.
- Proactively anticipate and respond to potential and real barriers to meeting targets and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the full range of current and future KGF Smallstock products, competitors and customers.
- Develop the product range and scope that aligns with Margin on material and cost of conversion target with the flexibility to provide best in practice customer solutions, working with Business Partners for financial modelling and developing flexible pricing structures that deliver maximum profit on all sales.
- Develop solutions in partnership with the business to address organisational, industry and economic challenges as they are anticipated or as they arise. These solutions being based on market activities and a risk management approach.
- Drive accountability throughout the organisation providing rapid alignment to the company vision, goals and strategy, together with increased prioritisation and focus to deliver market relevant, consumer centric driven innovation.
You will bring with you:
- 3 years+ experience working in broad food concept development and innovation.
- Exposure to red meat or other fresh food related categories in international markets.
- Demonstrated and proven success with innovation and commercialisation processes with evidence of where strategy has driven company growth, market share growth and/or category growth.
- Sales and business development experience.
- Demonstrated ability and agility to engage and build relationships across organisations, with customers, and external partners.
