Are you a Creative Designer who specialises in graphic design, looking for your next role?

I have a new position available. However, right now, this is an Expression of interest in the role-further information will be given if successful. This would be a contract position.

We are looking for a creative lead to join a very exciting government organisation. If you have a passion for the arts, heritage and performance, then this is the role for you. We need someone who is comfortable enough in leading the direction and can offer ideas to the table.

We need someone who has experience in a similar role within museums, art or heritage.

The Role:

Owns the visual identity of the organisation and is responsible for creative leadership and delivery across key channels, marketing and brand campaigns in support of the organisation's rich programme of exhibitions, events and activations.

Essential Criteria

·5+ years of experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

· 3+ years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency

·Comfortable in a lead design role on brand and marketing projects in an internal production team

·A portfolio that demonstrates success in communication and developing a brand through marketing

·Demonstrated ability to take a project through creative concept to asset delivery

·Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment and managing priorities

·You will have creative leadership to develop the brand-you must have experience in doing this with previous experience

. Experience in a similar role and experience working in art or museums

Responsibilities:

• Developing creative concepts and designs for a variety of projects, including marketing & brand campaigns across the full marketing mix, collateral and online content.
• Design for a range of media, including websites, print, social media, email marketing and digital campaigns.
• Collaborate with our marketing and social media managers in producing effective campaign visuals to support business goals.
• Contribute new ideas and fresh solutions to the development of all creative concepts.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to staff on design work.
• Proofread designs for accuracy and readability.
