Form of workTotal Connections is an established business with branches in Perth, Kalgoorlie & Port Hedland. Our core business is Hydraulic Hose & Fittings solutions as well as fire services primarily in the mining industry.
With our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join our team and help grow the company.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cold calling new customers
- Present new products & services to enhance existing relationship with our existing customer base
- Identification of customer needs, work with technical staff to prepare quotations which meet those needs
- Networking; conduct research, identify decision makers, build relationships
- Production of meaningful and accurate progress reports for submission to management
- Sales planning through development of long term strategic goals
- Track activity on accounts in order to meet sales targets
- Ensure data is accurately entered and managed with the company's ERP software
- Regular travel to visit our remote customers based around our branches
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar position within the hose/hydraulics/mining industry or similar.
- A track record in successful selling, achieving KPIs and territory management
- Strong verbal and written communication and numerical skills
- Current drivers licence
