AFP are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Business Development Manager to join the team and support our Mining customers.

The Role
The Business Development Manager is autonomous in their role managing their client base and developing opportunities and new customers to further grow sales within the business
Reporting to the Sales Manager, key responsibilities include;
- Key account management (Mining operators and Service companies)
- Opportunity development
- Customer development
- Input to and execution of the business sales strategy
- Development of quotations
The right candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills whilst also being technically minded, specifically around hydraulic and process equipment. They will be curious whilst confident in their approach to existing and potential customers and willing to put the hard work in for the greater good of the team. Our success has come from being unafraid to push boundaries and further ourselves in uncharted opportunities. We expect you to have the same drive and entrepreneurial attitude.
Success in this role will be a well managed client base and a growing sales portfolio
Minimum Requirements
- Account management experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- History of working with hydraulic and chemical injection equipment
- Excellent IT skills across Microsoft products
- Experience working in a CRM
- 5 years relevant industry experience
