In this role, you'll work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Nursing and Midwifery Education and Professional Development, to develop a sustainable Facilitation Capability Development program for nursing and midwifery in the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician-led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus. The Local Health District is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff providing direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
If you have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty area and/or leadership/management
- High level leadership skills and experience in project management
- Ability to work independently, maintaining project timelines and achieving high quality outcomes
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in key stakeholder consultation, facilitation and presentation
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, computer literacy, and willingness to travel in the course of employment
