  • This is an ongoing role, Clerk Grade 7/8, based in Martin Place within the Capability Development team.

About the role.
The Associate, Capability Development undertakes policy or project work to inform emergency management policy directions, facilitate service delivery reforms or major You will provide well researched and sound options on which the Department can rely for effective decision making or delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives, or interagency projects with a focus on Capability Development, training, or continuous improvement.

improvements. * You’re experienced in all aspects of policy processed – research, development, review, and evaluation.
  • You’re adaptable, resilient, and agile, with the ability manage several tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • You’re a team player, who can foster and maintain effective working relationships.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills including composing and presenting accurate correspondence, communicating information on departmental policies and procedures and deal confidently with people at all levels.

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($106,025 - $117,363) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
