Company Overview:Our global Tier 1 client is seeking a
Facilities Coordinator to provide world class service to clients in the CBD. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day facility operations, including the building structure, grounds, equipment, and utilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial facility management best practices and be able to develop and implement effective maintenance and repair programs.
Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise facility maintenance staff, including scheduling and delegation of tasks.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structure.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, as well as inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for the facilities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and facilities management
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, prioritize tasks, and develop and implement maintenance programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the management of external service providers and administration of contracts.
