The Role
Peninsula Grammar School is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Facilities Coordinator Permanent Full- Time. As the Facilities Coordinator at Peninsula Grammar School, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth running of our property and facilities department. The Facilites Coordinator undertakes diverse facilities-related functions and administrative duties to meet the operational requirements of the school. Operating within a professional, collaborative, and supportive team, your primary responsibilities will encompass, but are not restricted to:
- Assisting the Facilities Manager in day-to-day operational matters
- Maintaining accurate records of facility-related documentation
- Providing administrative support for maintenance operations, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Scheduling and organising maintenance tasks, triaging jobs, and responding to enquiries
- Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery
- Act as a point of contact for facility-related inquiries, both internally and externally (i.e. contractors, suppliers, staff members)
- General Maintenance and grounds keeping as required
- Fulfil any other duties as required to suit the operational needs of the School
- Setting up and packing up equipment, furniture, flags, and decorations for school functions
- Traffic management duties as required
- Operate machinery and equipment as required

About You
- Proven experience in facilities coordination, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong administrative skills, including record-keeping, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to school facilities
- Experienced in safe manual handling practices and operational duties
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting
- Ability to effectively prioritise work to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Current Drivers’ Licence
All positions at Peninsula Grammar require:
- Current Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to apply)
- First-Aid qualifications (HLTAID009 CPR Course, HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid & ASCIA anaphylaxis)
- Child Safety training – (provided by the school)
