Join the established Facilities Department for a private school, you'll be 2IC to the Director and coordinate a small team to successfully manage state of the art facilities. The school consists of several different buildings as well as modern sports facilities within the grounds. A core responsibility of this role is managing supplier and contractor agreements.

The Role:
- Oversee the management of numerous buildings and facilities within the campus;
- Play a pivotal role in the facilitation of events both internal and external;
- Manage the hire of the school facilities to external parties;
- Own and manage all contracted services - cleaners, grounds staff, catering, security etc;
- Provide guidance to other members of the facilities team;
- Having the foresight to identify issues before they arise; and
- Managing a busy live-site, this role is hands on and will offer variety day to day.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Around 5 years' experience managing facilities and supplier contracts;
- Experience gained in an environment with multiple buildings, grounds or a school / university campus would be advantageous;
- Proven experience managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, contractors and trade providers;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide a team and interact with everyone from suppliers to students; and
- Strong working knowledge of relevant WHS and compliance requirements.
As this role is on a school campus, the successful candidate will be required to complete a 'Working with Children Check'
