GO.FARM have an outstanding opportunity for a Farm Manager to join their team based at ‘Eurambeen Station’ located in Beaufort, Western Victoria. You will be assisting with their amalgamation and productivity transformation to oversee a property that spans 3,300ha and farms 2,800 ha of specialised crops and ultimately be responsible for a best-in-class grain factory.As Farm Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Initially assist with oversight and completion of CAPEX projects to finalise transformation process and any ongoing capital works to assist with unlocking productive potential.
- Oversee all cropping operations, farming activity and future planning for the property.
- Plan and execute the annual cropping operations, with a dedicated focus on quality, productivity, efficiency and cost control with the goal of operational excellence.
- Lead all on-ground farming staff so they understand their responsibilities, are engaged and regularly communicated with in a respectful manner.
- Champion a best-in-class healthy and safety culture.
- Work closely with head office and the broader business leadership team.
To be successful in this role, the following experience, skills and attributes are considered critical:
- Experience in a leadership role on a broadacre cropping property, ideally working in a similar role or business.
- Willingness to learn and adopt industry leading Ag technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing effective communication with all stakeholders.
