About the positionHorticulturalists play a pivotal role within our team to create and maintain vibrant spaces. As a Horticulturalist you will drive the hands-on execution of works programs throughout our City. Each day you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, assessing and reporting on the appearance of Council’s open spaces and assets, weed control, planting, pruning, hedging and other associated horticultural tasks.
You'll be on a 9-day fortnight schedule, optimising your work time while offering flexibility.

About you- Certificate III Horticulture or Arboriculture
- Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket (WZTM)
- Work safely in the construction industry (Whitecard)
- Current Drivers Licence
- MR licence or willing to obtain
- Loader/Excavator ticket or willing to obtain
- Competency in the operation of plant and equipment commonly used in Environment and Landscape/Turf Management operations.
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
