About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a team of dedicated technical engineers across ANZ to assist in providing technical support—installation, maintenance, and repairs on specialised microscopy equipment.
- Install, service and maintain Life Science instruments
- Build specific product knowledge and competencies on high-end scientific devices specialising in microscopy
- Work closely with the Customer Technical Support and sales teams
- Provide technical support and advice
- Support other states/territories where required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within science or a similar field.
- Expertise in electron microscopy or ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems is favourable
- Must have technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems
- Degree/Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical Engineering
- Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT knowledge and skills
- Willingness to travel.
