Exciting Part-time opportunity to join our Field Services division covering primarily the Northern Suburbs of Perth, however with travel to the Southern suburbs occasionally.
Energy-Tec is a private sub-meter reading and account calculation service provider to retail and commercial property managers and strata managers throughout Western Australia. If you are looking for flexibility in your working hours and lots of fresh air, this job is for you.
The role would involve reading electric, gas and water meters (indoor and outdoor) at commercial, industrial, residential and educational properties using a handheld electronic android device. This role requires a level of fitness and agility as most of the onsite work is undertaken on foot. This will be an ongoing part-time position, where the work flow fluctuates throughout the monthly calendar.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
- Available for work Monday to Friday for a minimum of 2 hours per day (or as required)
- Available to begin work by 8am
- Ability to use 'smart' handheld devices
- Ability to access and interpret data from BMS consoles and electronic devices (i.e. smart meters) - training is provided
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Sound mathematical/analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Able to follow directives and carry out assigned tasks autonomously
- Professional presentation/appearance (uniform will be provided)
- Ability to maintain excellent customer service relationships
- Sound understanding of commercial property access protocols
- Good vision, physical fitness and stamina to perform duties daily (able to walk up to or more than 10kms per day)
- Ability to access demanding locations i.e. rooftops, gardens, plantrooms (ability to walk upstairs and ladders)
- Good geographical and spatial awareness
- Have access to a reliable car and a valid Driver's License
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency status
- Have or can obtain a current clean police clearance
The position initially will be 1-2 days (approx. 10-15 hrs) per week while undergoing training and will slowly increase over the next three to six months. Estimate hours after training completed 2-4 days (approx. 20-35hrs) per week.
