Our Projects:
With several projects underway across Australia, we now have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor /Senior HSE Advisorto join our project in the Pilbara working on a 2/1 FIFO roster.
Reporting to the Project Manager, our HSE Advisors are responsible for supporting the project to successfully implement the HSE management system and programs to achieve a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible work environment. You will provide support in HSE related matters, including integration and application of cultural and behavioral frameworks, and will actively coach workers to promote a positive culture on site.
Your Role:
- Monitor and review Project HSE Management Plans (including Emergency Response Plan)
- Deliver Corporate and client HSE programs
- Create project specific toolbox topics to address local HSE issues and facilitation of toolbox meetings
- Consult with workers to improve HSE on site
- Coach and influence site workers and management on the Projects hazard and risk management tools (e.g. JHA/SWMS, Take 5, hazard report and permits)
- Conduct incident investigations
- Lead HSE inspections with site personnel (including subcontractors) and coach participants in identifying hazards and controls
- Set up, monitor and review HSE registers
- Assist with delivery of the project induction
- Support injury management on site including monitoring injured person’s and projects adherence to return to work plans onsite
- Build effective working relationships with all stakeholders, including client representatives
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in Construction, infrastructure FIFO projects
- Formal OHS Qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma
- Cert 4 in Training and Assessment - preferred
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with ability to communicate with all stakeholder levels
- Valid drivers' license
