The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes and administrative functions. This dual role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial principles and office management best practices. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day finance activities, overseeing office operations, and providing administrative support to various departments within the Company.
Reporting to the General Manager Orchard Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a high level of secretarial support to the General Manager of the Orchard Operations and the Processing Plant.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the office and support the wider team with administrative tasks-Maintaining fleet register and update data into SAP, as well as ordering fuel cards when required and process purchase orders for services
- Liaising with service providers and ensuring our facilities such as Company Housing is well maintained and managed
- Creation of new products in SAP for chemical and fertiliser, along with positing data into SAP for chemical, fertiliser, and fuel consumption
- Creation of Orchard Production Orders
- Ensuring that all transport providers are compliant with our internal & external safety regulations.
Qualifications/Training:
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a finance or administration role.
- Qualifications in finance or business administration is desired.
Essential Skills & Experience:
-Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting procedures and financial reporting standards. Proficient in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in finance data entry and reporting.
