ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the General Manager and Founder & Creative Director, we are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team.
As the Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial day to day operations of multiple divisions within the business, as well as play a critical role in driving financial strategy and forecasting.
This is a newly created position, and this opportunity would suit someone who is looking to work in a fast paced and changing environment, where no two days are the same.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIESBelow outlines the key duties and responsibilities for the Finance Administrator position, however is not limited to;
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation, including management of daily financial operations such as cash flow, banking, business reporting (receivables, payables and other financial statements required), debt recovery and general liaison with the business divisions for upcoming billing
- Client & Supplier Accounts Enquiries, including email and phone enquiries and general correspondence, and remittances
- Business & Division Reporting, Budgeting, forecasting & analysis, including division and business sales reports, billable hours, P&L reports, forecasting and financial plans, internal financial process and controls management as well as systems and process improvements
- Collaboration and liaison with external accountant for fortnightly payroll (including timesheets), Payroll tax, ATO, Superannuation, Workers Compensation & Insurances
The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria;
- CA / CPA qualified or equivalent, or extensive experience in bookkeeping
- Experience in business operations across a construction and/or design studio is preferred, however not essential
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Someone who thrives being hand's on but also able to pivot to the requirements of the business at the time
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to operate as a key team member, engaging regularly with the divisions, clients and suppliers
- Flexible and adaptable, you are able to work effectively in a high growth environment
