This Finance Analyst reports into the Commercial Manager, who will provide guidance, support and development. This role will business partner with the Mako Sales and Mako Marketing teams, and the Commercial & Pricing team, helping to drive business performance.
If you have completed (or almost completed) your CA or CPA qualification, have 1-2 years of experience outside of your degree in a finance related role.
Responsibilities:
- Mako division and Buying group reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
- Data builds to automation, including:
- Site and buying group reporting
- Service profitability reporting
- Powerbi dashboards
- Global presentations
- Analyse the impact (financial and non-financial) of actions taken within their Divisions and communicate these potential impacts to Commercial Manager Mako.
- Provide reporting insight into ongoing performance of Mako
- Build self-service Powerbi dashboards for the Mako marketing team
- Analytical support to Commercial Managers of Mako and JR and the divisional Senior Finance Analyst
- P&L management (this includes CPA division and month end accruals)
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven business partnering experience providing decision support and finance intelligence that helped drive business results
- Financial/accounting acumen
- Excellent Excel skills or a proven ability to self-learn Excel
- Sales driven data analytics incorporating market data and trends
- JDE, BI or other reporting/analytical system experience
- CA or CPA qualified or in studies in process
