A great opportunity for aFinance Analystto join a vibrant, dynamic and supportive team culture.

This 6 month contract position (with a view to perm) sits in our Commercial Reporting & Insights team, effectively partnering with leadership teams (Merchandise & Finance) to drive the business performance goals. In this role, you will ensure constant alignment between multiple stakeholders, while proactively providing commercial support and guidance on key strategic initiatives & opportunities.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

• Responsible for building ad hoc reports and analysis based on the needs of the merchandise teams
• Proactively introduce new, and rationalise existing, reporting to focus on current business strategic priorities eg (Ecom vs B&M, Basket Size analysis, Pinnacle vs Commercial, NPD contributions)
• Responsible for the production and distribution of weekly and monthly performance Reporting and analysis
• Provide holistic commercial analysis to support discussions on key business activities (eg: Christmas planning, Promotional opportunities)
• Ownership of our monthly supplier funding process (Co-op), working directly with the category teams to ensure accurate tracking & reporting of this key income line
• Maintain robust and reliable Sales and Margin P&L for Endeavour Retail businesses (jury rig)
• Supporting the business case process for Merch Transformation as well as ongoing tracking of spend & benefits 
• Play a key role in the annual budget and forecast process
• Clear and effective communication across multiple groups of stakeholders
• Create one way of working across the brands 
   

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you

We’re looking for a highly analytical individual with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have excellent attention to detail and most importantly are highly confident and capable with stakeholder engagement, and partnering with the business to provide key insights.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting (post Graduate roles)
• CA/CPA qualification preferred but not essential
• Advanced experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• SQL experience would be advantageous
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to navigate through a complex organisational structure and work effectively cross functionally
• Strong presentation and storyboarding skills; able to make the complex simple
• Advanced time management and prioritisation skills to support business requirements
• Desire for ongoing continuous improvement and process excellence
