Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the leasing fleet industry? CGK Talent has partnered with a prominent organisation to find a skilled and dedicated individual to join their team in Adelaide as an Accounts Receivable / Payable specialist.
Skills and Experience:
- Basic accounting knowledge, including an understanding of double-entry accounting
- Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritising skills
- High-level computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft suite (XERO, DEXT, Salesforce preferred but not crucial)
- Pride in work and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative team, accommodating different working styles, and working independently when required
- Prior experience in a similar administrative position
- Ability to provide effective and appropriate advice/information to a variety of people and use discretion with confidential information
Specific Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Process daily bank reconciliations across all relevant bank accounts
- Address variances promptly, requesting justification from the remitter
- Recognize the need for variations on novated leases when assessing funds received (shortfalls) and request action from Addendum team members
Accounts Payable
- Process DEXT payable invoices to Xero for payment, ensuring data in the lease management program is replicated
- Reconcile Creditor monthly statements, requesting missing documents or declining unauthorized entries
- Reconcile accounts as variances are encountered
- Monitor and process shared Accounts Department email boxes
- Implement Accounts Department-specific improvements
- Complete credit account applications when required
