Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper

OUR CLIENT

My client is an established building services consultancy who have grown from strength to strength over the last 30 years. They have been at the forefront of complex and exciting buildings projects in a number of cities around Australia. They are currently looking to add a bookkeeper to their Brisbane office.

THE ROLE

• • Daily Cash Reconciliation in Xero.
  • Daily Accounts Payable processing for Purchase Orders, Bills to Pay and Expense Reimbursements.
  • Daily Collections and Reporting of Accounts Receivables
    • Contact of Clients to obtain Expected Dates
    • Resolving any Invoice/Payment issues
    • Sending Reminders
    • Sending Statements
  • Daily Recording and Addressing Client Case issues.
  • Fortnightly Payroll
  • Superannuation Payments
  • ATO Filings
  • Fortnightly Accounts Payable
  • Weekly Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Compliance Reporting
  • Daily Progress reporting using Metronome.
• Manage Credit and Relationships: manage credit policies / procedures for the group to establish and maintain Credit Agreements, monitor the agreements to reduce financial risk across accounts receivable and accounts payable whilst maintaining relationships, and data accurately to approvals and records in Company Systems

ABOUT YOU

• A minimum of 10 years local experience
• Experience within professional services and in particular the design industry very advantageous
• Experience with Xero and Synergy 
• Technically minded and process driven
• Friendly demeanour
• Presentable, articulate and team focused
• Highly communicative
