About the role

Working as a trusted financial advisor, the Finance Business Partner will bring together specialist advice from core finance functions to support stakeholder decisions and outcomes. This role requires evaluating the business unit's requirements and considering the evolving environment to optimise financial outcomes. This involves working to align divisional and organisational financial goals. The Finance Business Partner collaborates with stakeholders who are navigating change and competing priorities to identify opportunities and contribute to decision-making processes, offering valuable financial insights. The Finance Business Partner identifies, analyses, and contextualises financial issues, risks, and opportunities to develop actionable recommendations, empowering decision-makers to address matters with financial impact.

About You

You are a highly motivated and dynamic finance professional with a strong background in financial management and business partnering. Your analytical acumen and strategic mindset enable you to provide insightful financial advice and support to drive business performance and achieve organisational goals. You are adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and your excellent communication skills allow you to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.

Your qualifications include a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, coupled with membership in a recognised accounting association (such as CPA or CA). You have a proven track record of working within large and complex organisations, ideally within the education or public sector. Your proficiency in financial systems and data analysis is complemented by your ability to influence decision-making and contribute to developing business strategies.

A proactive problem-solver, you are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities effectively while delivering high-quality results.
