The Finance Controller will spearhead the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial, compliance and reporting data. This role will involve the full suite of financial management and accounting activities including leading the budgeting process, providing strategic financial advice to the general manager and board, and maintaining quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Controller include but are not limited to:
- Managing general ledgers, financial reports, and budgets
- Planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating financial and accounting activities
- Preparing financial reports and activity statements to drive informed decision-making
- Providing strategic advice on financial and investment decisions
- Proven experience in financial management and analysis
- A strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
