In this role you will:
- Manage and administer assigned debtors ledger of the Group
- Ensure adherence to company's credit terms & conditions
- Assess cash collections, and assist in cash flow forecasting and budgeting processes
- Promote prompt payment of debtor accounts to maximise & achieve collection targets
- Ensure the integrity of the debtors ledger by reconciliation of individual accounts
- Liaise with customers and internal staff to ensure early resolution of customer issues
- Complete detailed debtor reports
- Perform reconciliations of debtors accounts monthly
- Control of debtors escalation procedures
- Provide active support in the implementation and development of the quality and continuous improvement programs
- Process accounts receivable and general ledger journal entries
- Process Credit Card payments
About You
You will be a highly motivated credit professional with outstanding communication skills with:
- 12 + months experience in credit control in a medium sized organisation
- Experience with Open Item computerised accounts receivable ledger
- Intermediate Microsoft office experience in particular Word and Excel
- Experience with database systems
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with customers at all organisational levels
- AICM membership and exposure to Microsoft D365 (highly desirable)
