AddressThe role of Finance Manager reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for all financial aspects of the business. Namely, the preparation of monthly management accounts of multiple entities, cash flow forecasts, annual P&L budgeting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be part of growing and leading a small team covering the Admin, AP, AR, Payroll functions, and work with Management around process improvement.
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships and compliance with our external accountants, financiers, and statutory compliance bodies to ensure all requirements are met and the business is in a healthy position to support its future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L management, budgeting, and reporting
- Cash flow analysis and management
- Liaise with external accountants for compliance
- Liaise with other key staff in relation to reporting and requirements
- Complete and maintain all ATO and relevant legislative compliance obligations
- Maintain Asset Registers
- Account reconciliation review and management
- Conduct regular Audits
- Manage the company's payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee wages, entitlements, and deductions
- Work with the Management to stay updated on relevant employment legislation and industry standards to ensure compliance
- Stock variance control and reporting
- Customer credit management
- Develop financial strategy and forecasting to enable business growth with Management
- Lead and develop a small team across the finance/ administration department
- Support Managers in the provision of information via reporting developed for each division where required
- Improvement mindset and team player mentality
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in a previous role preferred
- Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines
- ERP software system experience preferable - XERO
- Advance Excel skill
- Management of staff preferred but not essential
