About the role
We are seeking an experienced, CA or CPA qualified Finance Manager to join our team located at our Head Office in Point Clare.
The Finance Manager reports to the CEO and is a member of our leadership team. You will manage a small team and be responsible for the overall financial operations of the organisation, including provide financial reports and interpreting financial information while recommending solutions to assist in decision making process and setting strategic direction, advising on investment strategy and activities, and maintaining the financial health of the organisation. The position is also responsible to oversee improvement of financial related internal control processes & systems across the organisation and support the operations by providing solutions to improve operation efficiency.
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and flexible leader with a high degree of initiative. The role will suit someone who has the ability to think strategically, solve problems, improve processes and business efficiencies. A demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and associated funding guidelines as well as experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and Flowlogic are highly desirable.
We are looking for a genuine team player who will work collaboratively with the management team and drive business improvements.

Skills and experience
- CPA or CA qualified, including continuing professional development and learning
- Financial leadership qualities backed up by exceptional analytical and numerical skills
- 5-10 years demonstrated senior financial team management, reporting and control experience
- A thorough understanding of financial governance practices
- Timely provision of reliable reports
- Experience in managing / leading work teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Flowlogic would be an advantage
- Experience in the not-for-profit/disability/NDIS sector would be an advantage
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
