Position: Finance Manager (Contract)
Location: Head Office - Burleigh Heads
Contract Duration: Ongoing
Time Commitment: Approximately 2 days a week
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
Develop and implement strategies for financial growth and efficiency.
Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to drive the financial strategy of the business.
Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Work closely with senior management to offer creative financial solutions and strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Manage cash flow and forecasting, optimizing the company’s financial performance.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Offer financial expertise in negotiations and contracts with suppliers and clients.
Keep abreast of financial regulations and legislation, ensuring the company’s financial practices are in compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Proven experience in a finance management role (min. 2 years), ideally within a fast-growing company.
Strong analytical skills and experience creating financial models and forecasts.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Innovative and strategic thinker with a creative edge to develop growth strategies.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
