About the opportunity:
Reporting directly into the CFO you will oversee the full accounting & finance function and lead a small team.
Working in a fast-paced environment you will have the opportunity to get involved in and influence all aspects of the business, establish new processes and seek out improved ways of working.
Your core responsibilities will include;
- Development and management of the finance team
- Coordination with third party vendors, external accountants and auditors
- Preparation of the annual statutory accounts as well as monthly management reporting and delivery of the month-end accounting processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Ad-hoc analysis and business cases
- Overseeing payroll processing and reporting
This opportunity would suit an ambitious Finance Manager looking to work closely with a CFO to grow a business to a successful PE exit and to take on responsibility of the A to Z of a finance department. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria;
- CA / ACA Qualified with training in a large mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm
- Industry experience within fashion, retail or broader e-commerce is preferred
- Aspirations to work in a fast-paced and growing business
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to operate as a business partner, engaging regularly with the operations teams
