Hays Office Support are currently seeking a Finance Officer for a well-known Tasmanian transport network. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & support a dynamic team with financial activities. This provider is commercially focused and committed to delivering optimal logistics solutions to its customers. The role will require full-time hours and will be offered as a temporary assignment, starting asap.
Your new role
Based in Launceston, as the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing accurate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, and Payroll Support for a high-volume environment. Reporting to the Finance Executive, you will be required to complete all administration in relation to AP, AR, travel expenses, and Payroll support of approximately 300 employees. What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful applicant, you'll have demonstrated experience in finance administration and tasks. In addition, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and data management
- Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting and financial procedures and processes
- Ability to work in a confidential manner
- A growth mindset, be proactive and a self-leader
- Passion to contribute towards improving processes
