Finance Officer - 12 Month Term

We are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated person with a well-developed knowledge of accounts payable and receivable to join our friendly Corporate Services team and fill the full-time temporary position of Finance Officer for a period of approximately 12 MONTHs.

Work Type: Full time – 12 Month Term – Approx 20th May 2024 to 6th June 2025

Level: Level 4 + Over Award - $63,452 to $65,933 pa

This position is primarily responsible for the control, recording and prompt payment of supplier invoices and issuing of debtor’s invoices as well as providing back up customer service at the Shire of Waroona Administration Office. We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping practices and procedures with experience using computerised accounting systems.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers (WA) Award 2021 Level 4.1 to 4.4 negotiated according to experience and qualifications.
