Finance Officer

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer based in Henderson Perth  Reporting to the Regional Business Services Manager and supports the finance team with customer billings, weekly and monthly financial reporting and supporting data and analytics regarding interfaces with NAV and Kronos systems. 

Undertake the following works:
Systems and Costings

• Working in close collaboration with BL & BD Team members
• Create and manage weekly labour utilisation reports, and performing labour cost reconciliations.
• Processing with accuracy accounts receivable (debtor) transactions for clients in accordance with Group policy and protocols
• Liaising with and assisting the project/ operations teams to ensure clients are invoiced correctly and in a timely manner
• Billings and Invoicing
• Coordinating debtors chasing efforts and reporting of debt collection issues
• Managing and resolving invoicing errors and disputes
• Supporting month end & year end process
• Any other tasks assigned by Management.

 
The Candidate
You will be a team player with solid experience in a similar position

• Proficient in systems eg Kronos, Navision or other billings systems
• Experience in working in mining, oil and gas, construction or infrastructure industries
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting customer invoicing, data and cost reporting and analytics
