Developments: property construction and development, focussing on convenience and retail sites and bespoke commercial projects.
Property: ownership and management of a diversified real estate portfolio including retail, commercial and industrial properties.
Family office: investment and administration.
Motorsport: operation of The Bend and Mallala motorsport precincts.
About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer supports the finance function, and Peregrine’s business operations through the day-to-day administration of (i) fleet, (ii) insurance, and (iii) payroll. This role ensures Peregrine’s adherence to regulations and internal policies and involves monitoring and maintaining compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and internal protocols to minimise risk, safeguard company assets and optimise efficiency. The role will also assist in ensuring quality, security, and accessibility of data across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Support the finance team in relation to bookkeeping, reporting, lodgements, and management of third parties.
Work closely with the nominated insurance broker/s, providing them with the necessary information to secure appropriate coverage across all areas.
Monitor policy expiration dates and initiate renewal processes.
Maintain accurate and organised records of insurance policies, claims, correspondence, and other relevant documents.
Manage Peregrine’s fleet, overseeing vehicle maintenance, registration, and fleet insurance coverage.
Work with business units and Peregrine’s outsources payroll provider to facilitate payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and legislation, and work to communicate these with relevant divisions.
Manage office supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.

Key skills and experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance Officer, bookkeeping, or similar role.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and a high degree of initiative.
Experience in general accounting practices and procedures.
Proven organisational and multitasking ability to achieve results.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
