Step into the critical role of Finance Officer, where your expertise will enhance the council's financial services for both our team and the community. You will play a key role in ensuring legislative compliance and efficiently managing finance-related tasks including creditors, revenue/debtors, water billing, and provide support for rates, payroll, and assets. Your commitment to accurate financial record-keeping will be instrumental to our finance team's success.

As our ideal candidate, you will be:

• Deeply knowledgeable in the world of finance, with a Certificate III in Accounts Administration or equivalent.
• Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office suite and experienced with financial software packages.
• Skilled with the ability to organise and prioritise work within an environment of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.
• Customer focused, with experience in managing inquiries and complaints with sensitivity and discretion.

The salary for this position ranges from $69,400 to $76,800 per annum, plus superannuation. In addition, we offer flexible work arrangements, council uniform, ongoing professional development, with opportunities for career and salary progression.
