Position Description
We are looking for a Finance officer/Operations Administrator to join our vibrant team based in the heart of Subiaco. In this fast paced role no two days will be the same with your time being split between being responsible for the day to day management of our financial transactions and procedures along with supporting our operations team with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Financial reporting against budgets.
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Maintenance of detailed and accurate financial records.
- Oversight of creditors' processes, including approval, reconciliation, and payment.
- Banking and reconciliation duties for all accounts.
- Bi-weekly payroll processing and compliance with legislative requirements.
- HR system administration and supporting recruitment activities.
- Assistance with operational tasks, including administrative support for production projects
- Preparation of internal and external corporate documents.
- Management of employee travel bookings.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proficiency in accounting software ideally in MYOB.
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Have an enthusiastic can- do outlook and a willingness to do what it takes to get a job done.
- Understands how to disseminate information and communicate effectively to the relevant parties.
