Access theThe primary purpose of the position is to provide high level administrative support to the Corporate Finance, QBuild team. The position reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, who in turn reports to the Senior Team Leader, Financial Operations. The position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Senior Team Leader, Financial Operations who is responsible for the continued daily Financial Operations throughout QBuild. Also this position is responsible for ensuring that Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable functions are delivered in an accurate, efficient and effective client focuessed manner. It is also the responsibility of this position to maintain adequate support to all users within Qbuild.

- You have sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and practices for financial functions which aligns with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- You have the ability to contribute positively to the work of a small team to achieve deadlines and manage competing priorities within agreed timeframes.
- You possess sound communication and interpersonal skills with a range of internal and external clients.
- You take personal responsibility for accurately completing work which contributes to the quality and efficiency of team outputs.
- You have experience in performing accounts payable and or receivable functions to support the business areas of a large organisation in accordance with the Financial Accountability Act, Public Finance Standards and the department delegations
- Provide support to the users within the Business Unit
- Provide support in undertaking projects as directed by the Senior Team Leader and the Accounts Payable or Receivable Supervisors.
- Contribute to the effective teamwork within the group by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and work collaboratively to assist the team in delivering.
