Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of financial reporting of strategic business units. You will be responsible for the effective coordination and continuous improvement of finance functions and provide support to the Finance team. You will be responsible for managing the bank reconciliation and payroll accounting processes.

Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
- Take ownership for month end close including maintaining all GL reconciliations
- Complete daily bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare weekly supplier payment runs
- Prepare compliance lodgements including GST
- Assist with the AP and AR functions as required
- Contribute to the annual budget preparation
- Support the preparation of annual statutory report
- Assist Finance Manager, Financial Controller and CFO as required
Candidate Profile
You are highly energetic and entrepreneurial in your thinking, wishing to be in a critical role driving performance for a business. You are CA or CPA-qualified. Your expertise in technical accounting and tax compliance ensures accurate adherence to accounting standards and timely delivery of all reports. By nature, you operate collaboratively, have strong relationship-building skills and thrive in a team environment where you can mentor junior colleagues. You have either come from a commercial role with 2-3 years' experience or come from a Big 4 firm at an accountant or analyst level. Candidates that apply must have PR or citizenship.
